Extremely Piaget sautoir watch
The embodiment of extreme virtuosity, this "Peter Pan collar" platinum sautoir watch enhances the diamond in each of its facets. Around a central brilliant-cut diamond weighing approximately 2 carats are assembled hundreds of gemstones: 195 marquise-cut, 287 brilliant-cut, 35 cushion-cut and 16 pear-cut diamonds, for a total of approx 123.46 carats. Each platinum setting has been specially designed for the stone that it encloses. Each setting is linked to the next with an extremely delicate link also made of platinum. This technique allows several cuts of diamond that are very different from one another to be used on the same piece, while enhancing the value of each stone. Entirely made up of diamonds, this necklace is transformed into a sautoir necklace thanks to a pendant chain that starts in the center of the jewel and falls to the waist. Doubly jewel-like, this sautoir sits on the borderline between Haute Horlogerie and High Jewelry. At the tip of the sautoir's chain a watch module is suspended in a gem-set ball with a diameter of 26 mm.
