Joël Dicker is a Swiss novelist, born in Geneva in 1985. He studied law, getting his Master's degree from the University of Geneva law school in 2010.
During his university studies he started writing novels, building on his passion for art, music and literature that had developed throughout his childhood.
His first novel was published in 2012. His second novel, La Vérité sur l'affaire Harry Quebert , was a worldwide success, selling 4 million copies in 40 languages.
His third novel was published in October 2015 and will be available throughout the world by autumn 2016.
