At the pinnacle of Haute Horlogerie and High Jewelry
Since 1874, Piaget has been creating luxury watches that are treasures of craftsmanship and refinement.
Watches and luxury jewelry that sparkle with diamonds
Since the launch of its first ultra-thin movement in 1957 paved the way for all manner of bold styles, the Manufacture has brought the art of High Jewelry to its creations. In 1961, the most highly skilled gemologists, jewelers, goldsmiths and stone-setters of their generation were brought into the fold. Now that the Maison had such consummately skilled watchmakers and jewelers in its ranks, imagination knew no bounds. Piaget could perform alchemy with the most beautiful precious stones and exceptional movements, blending the arts of jewel-crafting and watchmaking to give birth to stunning pieces that are both luxury watch and fine jewelry in one. These pieces offer the quintessence of the Manufacture’s consummate craftsmanship, combining the Maison’s dual expertise in High Jewelry and Haute Horlogerie.
Piaget’s secret lies in its unique mastery of all the skills related to these two art forms – making it possible to create a luxury watch that is a veritable artwork of High Jewelry. Within the Manufacture, almost one hundred separate crafts within these two very exacting realms are undertaken alongside each other to give birth to pieces that sparkle with diamonds, sapphires, rubies and emeralds. Each year, over three million precious stones pass through the expert hands of the Maison’s stone-setters to create objects that are not only exceptional watches, but equally luxury jewels.
